I don't know how the sequel will turn out but if I was to pick it up at launch I'd get it on PS3 or 360 just to play it safe. So yeah, it was literally ported, not very well mind you. My GeForce 8800GTS had a difficult time forcing the game to run at high framerates until the game was patched properly. It was good, but part of what made R6 great on the 360 was the upgrades and rank up system. No persistent character creation for multiplayer. Real graphics options would've been nice. Few graphics options: screen resolution, shadow quality, screen brightness *big whoop* I went ahead and got the PC version some time after I got the 360 version, while the game would run on my laptop at the time, only time I could get a near stable framerate was at minimal shadows at 640 x 480, and that sucked. No widescreen support when released (was finally fixed through patches, and was done via non-Ubisoft ways before that) Click to expand.I had it on 360 but I did eventually get it on PC expecting the same experience, but with better graphics, better framerate, and in HD (I didn't have the 360 VGA cables and a computer monitor at the time, I only had a laptop when I got it on 360).
